Sell Cell Phones in Idaho
Because of ongoing technological advancements, the electronic products that we bought last month may very well be considered obsolete today or if it's lucky enough, until the next month. And within a very brief period of time, this creates a huge surplus of unusable electronic products and other portable electronic gadgets. People of IDAHO call these 'e-wastes.'
Disposing of e-wastes in the local landfills has been a potential source of diseases and health problems both for the humans and the environment. To avoid this problem, the Senate Bill 50 or the Electronic Waste Recycling Act was signed into law in 2004. The law funded a program that would implement the strict collection, recycling, and reuse of the majority of the outdated electronic items to ensure a clean, safe, and environmentally healthy disposal of covered electronic devices.
According to the official webpage of the state:
"Idaho has also adopted regulations (Chapter 23 of Title 22 of the Idaho Code of Reg0ulations) designating e-wastes as universal wastes. Because they pose lower immediate risk to people and the environment when properly managed, universal wastes can be handled and transported under more relaxed rules compared to hazardous wastes. However, e-wastes contain hazardous materials and must be taken to a designated handler or recycler. Find an e-waste handler or recycler in your county, or visit the CalRecycle's database of the companies that collect, reuse and recycle electronic wastes."
But if the people of Idaho knew that if they sold their old electronics especially their old cellphones to Cash for Smartphones, their recycling worries would soon be over. Because Cash for Smartphones gives cash to all those who are willing to turn in their used, old, or broken electronics, anyone from Idaho will perceive the act of recycling as a rewarding experience!
